What is Project CivilARTzation, and how can you join?
Since it's founding in 2016, not only has Higher Art Gallery been artist/women led, but more than 200 women have exhibited their work in solo and group exhibitions . HAG has consistently supported and cultivated the diverse contributions of women artists through its exhibitions, educational workshops, and community outreach with student artists, providing a vehicle to achieve artistic and economic equality for women in the visual arts.
It is today, with great pleasure that we would like to announce a new (501)c-3 project called ,"Project CivilARTzation". It is through this non-profit project that we plan to increase not only the work we do with women, but also advance the work of all artists who have been (and still are) underserved and underrepresented.
We have over a year of programming planned for Project CivilARTzation and we hope you will consider joining us as a member . By participating as a supporting member, you are helping to grow a culture which appreciates and is supportive of Visual Arts in our community. Funds earned by membership dues go directly back into growing the Non-Profit .
